Joe received his Juris Doctor from the Gonzaga University School of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2015.  During law school, he worked as a Law Clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Washington and managed the Petty Offense Docket for Spokane where he prosecuted federal governmental regulatory offenses in the magistrate court.  As a twelve year veteran of law enforcement, Joe understands the professional and personal liabilities and consequences facing officers today.  He started in 2000 with the Latah County Sheriff’s Office in Moscow, Idaho and was soon hired by the Idaho State Police in 2001.  During his time at ISP, Joe was a Trooper, Corporal, and Detective and he enjoyed being a Ground Control Instructor and member of the Crowd Intervention Team.  As a Detective, Joe participated in the investigation of officer involved shootings and conducted internal investigations for other agencies.  Having this experience, he learned how important it is for officers to have their own legal representation specializing in law enforcement professional liability.  With that understanding, Joe strives to provide the best legal representation for police officers and other public employees involved in duty related critical incidents and administrative investigations.
